The music world has paid tribute to Aretha Franklin

Love and respect has been rolling in for the late Aretha Franklin (read our official tribute here).
The soul singer died today after it was reported earlier this week that she was “gravely ill” in Detroit.
Her publicist confirmed that she passed away at her home, with reports stating the cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
DJs, musicians and record labels, from Nile Rodgers and Ninja Tune to Paul McCartney and The Black Madonna have all paid tribute on Twitter.

Aretha Franklin will forever be the ultimate songstress. No one will ever get close. She was SOUL!
We have lost a Goddess and we should celebrate her contribution to our lives. I know she enriched mine!https://t.co/4wtgTvrL3H— Simon Dunmore (@SimonDunmore) 16 August 2018
